Family Mediation Voucher Scheme
To help separating and divorcing couples access family mediation the Government has introduced the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme. Upon a successful application it means that you can have £500 of your fees paid for. We are authorised to take part in the family mediation voucher scheme.
In order to access the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme both you and your ex partner need to have paid privately for your MIAMs/initial meetings. Also, part of the issues to be discussed in mediation must involve child arrangements. If your proposed mediation is purely regarding property and finance then you will not be eligible. During your MIAM, we will discuss the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme with you.
Legal Aid is available for Family Mediation. You can check your eligibility here: https://www.gov.uk/check-legal-aid. If you think you are eligible for legal aid, Radley Mediation can refer you to a suitable mediation service with a Legal Aid contract.
